Last Week Challengers... Time to use everything you have left in the tank.

You have done INCREDIBLY well over the last six weeks and we have loved watching you push yourselves. You should all be very proud.

As we come to the end of the challenge, think about how you will continue your new fitter and healthier lifestyle.  Consider your meal planning moving forward and your training days so that you don’t lose the fantastic momentum you have developed over the last few weeks.

Think about some of the temptations you will face and how you will overcome them.  With Christmas just around the corner, the temptations will be hard BUT that doesn't mean you need to undo your hard work..

As we mentioned in week 2, if you plan on taking the holidays off and doing NO exercise and EATING double your weight in great food this week is the week to start scaling back! If you do this, it wont be such a shock to your body but also your metabolism!

Our tip is, scale back on your sessions if you do 6, cut back to 3, and slowly transition yourself to the relax mode you may be about to sit in for 2-3 weeks!

Not only will this make it easier for you to get back into it, but there wont be too much damage done to your metabolism…

This is the week you also need to start thinking about the NEW YEAR.. We have our first challenge commencing in Feb and you can secure your spot now by filling out this form and paying online to 100% secure your spot. Spaces are strictly limited and being the new year it will fill up fast!

As we enter the last stage of the challenge its important that you understand digestion, how your body digests food and why! 80% of you immune systems is found in your gut, so gut health is paramount to your overall health and results. Digestion is important because your body needs nutrients from food and drink to work properly and stay healthy. Proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and water are nutrients. Your digestive system breaks nutrients into parts small enough for your body to absorb and use for energy, growth, and cell repair.

In your small intestines you have these hair like follicles ( similar to your nose hairs) that are called Villi. These are your nutrition receptors and through the breakdown process of the foods you eat, they absorb the nutrients our bodies need to function everyday!

Over time from poor nutritional habits, stress, alcohol and smoking what can happen is these villi break off and your body no longer can absorb the nutrients it needs to its 100% capacity thus resulting in things like leaky gut, IBS, celiac and all those not so fun digestive issues and low energy. The villi can be repaired and you can feel great again with lots of energy, by cleaning up your diet, creating healthier habits and eating as much plant based foods as possible.

Check out the video below and get some education on HOW the food we eat effects your digestive system!
