The #1 reason you aren’t seeing results….
Is because you aren’t using training programs properly. Following a training plan “loosely” won’t work… at least not if you want to become elite.
Going to the gym with a list of exercises will get you decent results. But if you’re reading this - I don’t think you want to settle for decent.
You need to have a program that you can follow to the tee. Right down to the reps, sets, weights, time under tension, etc…It also needs to be structured properly. If you come to TNFC, we have you covered here, all you have to do is SHOW UP!!
For a structured training program to work - the variables have to stay the same. Variables = sets, reps, time under tension, rest period, etc.
Only one variable should be changing per month/8 weeks ☝️If you aren’t increasing your variables - your Body Composition and physiology won’t change. And the best way to increase variables is to focus on one at a time. The most common variable to change is weight or slight modification to the exercise like swapping a Barbell for Dumbbells.
This is what everyone assumes will move the needle and shape their physique. Problem is, they’ll inadvertently change other variables…like training frequency or jump to a complete different program or give up and change gyms completly. It could be things you don’t even notice, like rest time & time under tension. Or more obvious things like sets & reps (when you’re feeling tired that day). We all feel tired from time to time, But if you really want the results you’re after - you have to push through even on those days.
Most people only do 1 truly hard set in their workout. Usually the first one. But this throws all your variables out of whack and you can’t control for one. So, how do you know which variable to change and when? Well, that’s where we come in 😊
Over the years, Our programming has changed but we have mastered the art of introducing the right kind of variety into workout programs and now it’s nailed to the best and smartest way to train for continued measureable progression within our members.
Shocking your body is good…
But if you shock it too often it never has time to adapt and grow. Think of it like a controlled experiment you’re running on yourself. Get this right, and your results will finally start being where you want them. Show up. Stick to it. Train to your true potential. FUCK FEAR! Believe in yourself and your strength!
